Farm to Table Tampa Bay Offers Incredible Dining Experience & More!
Husband/Wife TV Anchors Walter Allen & Natalie Taylor Will Emcee the September 28, 2024 Event to Support Cancer Patients and Their Families
Bradenton, Fla., August 14, 2024 — The Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) Foundation is excited to announce that one of the Foundation’s most popular fundraisers is coming to Tampa Bay! Reservations are now open for Farm to Table Tampa Bay 2024, to be held September 28, 2024 at SoireEstate in Lutz, Florida. Gilead Oncology is the Presenting Sponsor for the event. Featuring a delectable ‘farm-to-table’ menu, sourced locally, the evening will also include a spectacular chance drawing for a week’s stay at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa in the heart of California’s wine country, as well as silent and live auctions, entertainment, dancing, and more—all set in a lush, natural environment that has been voted one of Tampa’s best event venues!
Husband/wife television anchors Walter Allen & Natalie Taylor will handle emcee duties for an evening that promises to delight your senses! A multi-talented journalist with anchoring, reporting, and producing abilities, Walter anchors “Good Day Tampa Bay” on FOX 13, from 4 to 6 a.m. during the week. He launched his broadcasting career in 2007 at KCWY in Casper, Wyoming then headed east to Columbus, Ohio, where he was a reporter and co-anchor at the ABC/FOX station WSYX. While working in Columbus, Walter met his wife, fellow broadcaster Natalie Taylor, before moving to Indianapolis, Indiana to co-anchor weekend mornings at WISH. He and Natalie came to Florida in 2014 and are thrilled to be living and working in the Tampa Bay area.
Before moving to Florida, Natalie spent over a decade as a host, reporter and anchor for FOX Sports. Six of those years, she was based in Atlanta with FOX Sports South/Sport South, where she covered everything from collegiate sports to NASCAR and the NHL. She’s appeared on several regional networks, as well as national networks like ESPN, HDNet, SPEED, Versus and, most recently, Tampa-based HSN. Because she loves doing interviews with a variety of guests on a morning lifestyle program, Natalie says that her current position, hosting “Tampa Bay’s Morning Blend,” is a dream come true.
Honorary Chair Richard McDonough, MD, an oncologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), said, “This is going to be a wonderful event, in a fabulous setting, with delicious food, amazing auction items and, most importantly, an opportunity to provide financial assistance that helps pay for critical living expenses for cancer patients who are undergoing treatment. Space is limited, so I hope everyone will purchase their tickets early.”
Rising country singer Emma Forgette will provide entertainment for Farm to Table. 19-year-old Emma has performed in a diverse range of styles—from opera and classic rock to pop and theatrical; however, country music remains her first love and unwavering choice. She recently released her debut single “Counting to 3.”
Lynn Rasys, Executive Director of the FCS Foundation, said, “This event is one of our favorites and we are so grateful for all the support from our sponsors, volunteers, committee members and the Tampa Bay community. We anticipate a very fun evening that will make a real difference for cancer patients and their families.”
Tickets for Farm to Table Tampa Bay are $250 per person / $2,300 for a table of 10 and may be purchased at fcsf.org/fcsf-events/farm-to-table-tampa-bay-2024. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Please call 941.677.7186 for more information.

About Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation
The Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) Foundation provides financial support to qualified adult cancer patients in the state of Florida for expenses such as rent or mortgage, car payments and utility bills. By giving patients peace of mind in knowing that their bills are being paid while they are undergoing treatment, the FCS Foundation allows them to concentrate on what really matters – fighting cancer.
Due to the generosity of the Florida Cancer Specialists physicians in covering all overhead expenses for the Foundation, 100% of donations received go directly toward paying the essential non-medical living expenses of an adult battling cancer.
The Foundation is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization located at 5985 Silver Falls Run, Suite 210, Bradenton, Florida 34211. Learn more about the FCS Foundation at: FCSF.org or call (941) 677.7181.
